Namibian all-rounder Jan Frylinck (left) starred with bat and ball as his group taken aback Sri Lanka in the first healthy of the T20 World Cup Sri Lanka fell to a shock 55-run loss to Namibia within the commencing sport of the T20 World Cup with the 2014 champions crumbling in a 164-run chase at Geelong.

Sri Lanka, visible because the robust favourite to win Group A and enhance to England's Super 12 group after prevailing within the current Asian Cup, took 108 in exactly 19 overs as Namibia famously claimed victory.

Namibia now dream of a 2nd consecutive appearance within the Super 12 after qualifying for that stage remaining year of their first T20 World Cup, however Sri Lanka can't manage to pay for any more mistakes as they face the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday and then to the Netherlands  days later.

Man of the Match Frylinck stated: “I'm a chunk speechless at the moment. What we've got simply carried out is above what we concept we may want to do and I am very excited at this moment.”
